The Protekt Akra-SE™ Semi-Electric Homecare Bed is a reliable, heavy-duty bed solution designed for maximum comfort, safety, and durability in home settings. Built with a reinforced steel frame, it provides excellent support with motorized adjustment of the head and foot sections for a customized sleep or recovery position. Manual crank operation adjusts the bed height, and in the event of a power outage, a 9V battery backup lowers the bed for added safety. The Akra-SE includes optional full or half rails and the option to add a Group 1 support surface with a high-quality foam mattress. Designed with easy setup in mind, this bed ships in only two boxes and features a user-friendly hand pendant, ETL-approved motor box, and locking casters for stability.
